Shabby Shares Saturday Link Party – 9/3/11
Due to the holiday weekend, I am opening up this week’s link party a little early. This will give you a chance to share your craft, diy decor project and recipe links before you get to busy with holiday planning.
Last week was the kick-off of the new link party and like anything new, it was a little slow getting started. However, I did get some fantastic links that I am sure everyone enjoyed.
The readers choice for last week was the super classy monogrammed lampshades by Stacy over at Conspicuous Style. I love that she took ordinary lampshades from Target and made them into something extraordinary with a little embellishing. She got an expensive look for a very little cost.
I liked so many of the entries that it was hard for me to make a choice to feature. However, I have to say that the painted pew done by Ritajoy at Harbour Breeze was such a beautiful shabby chic transformation that it had to be my pick. I appreciated the trial and error, which many of us go through, and the ultimate perfect final result.
