Rustic, Recycled, And Chic Link Up #2

I am happy to say that the kick off of my new themed link party, last week, has been well received.  So…I am going to continue them on a weekly basis.  They will begin each Saturday, bright and early, and continue through Friday of the following week.

This party is just for rustic or shabby chic crafts and decorating projects but also includes any projects that use recycled materials.  These are the themes of my blog so I thought it made sense to keep the link party focused on those areas as well. 

Last week I had lots of great projects linked up and I am excited to show you a few features from the party now:

This first project was submitted by Ode To Inspiration and it has given me a lot of inspiration!  You will want to check out the before and after.  I have used vintage shutters in my decor as well but never thought of adding words to the top.  What a clever idea!

Design Dreams By Anne has all kinds of wonderful ideas for using old windows in decor.   Anne has been so fortunate to be able to find such a great variety of windows and doors to use.  Check out all of her finds for 2011!

I have seen wooden pallets used to make furniture and signs but I hadn’t seen it on the ceiling before.  This application by Maple Leaves Sycamore Trees is a fantastic one!  I love the warm rustic look it gives the room.
