Feature: How To Make A Brooch In A Vintage Style

Brooches are a fun accessory that can add some chic and sparkle to an outfit. And, you don’t have to pay a lot of money for one  if you know how to make your own!

I was inspired by this unique craft idea submitted by Joey from Created In Awe.  She shows how to make a brooch using lace and some vintage inspired embellishments.

The best part is that these beautiful brooches are very affordable to make.  Her cost for three brooches was only $6!

What I especially love about this craft project is it’s versatility.  Not only can you wear the finished project as a brooch on a sweater, but you can also use it to embellish other items in home decor.  I would love to see these on throw pillows, wreaths, or even lampshades.
