Craft Business

If you have been making crafts for a while now and  your house is beginning to get stocked full of your wonderful creations, it may be time to start thinking about going into some sort of craft business.  After-all, there is just so much space that you have in your own house to keep everything you make for yourself!  Plus, you may have run out of people to give your craft gifts to.  But don’t worry, there are many ways that you can sell your crafts, whether it be an on-line store, craft shows or on consignment.

This page is your source for all kinds of tips and information to get you started and on your way to a successful business venture.  Most of the ideas come from my own experience of going on the road to various craft shows, having an on-line store and also selling directly to small retail stores.

I have also shared important information to know about setting up your business for tax purposes and reporting.  And, depending on the way you plan on selling your crafts, there are various ways to market yourself.   However, once you read through all of the articles, you will see how it is just a matter of taking little baby steps to be up and running as a full fledged business in no time!
