Feature: Refinishing Antique Drawer Knobs In A Dresser Redo

Spread the love

Today’s feature comes from Charlene at C. Clrly Creative and it is a great dresser makeover from a $10 find at an auction!  I just love these type of projects.  I wanted to highlight the way she enhanced the drawer knobs, for this project, since she got such great results.

Sometimes a lot of emphasis is put on the refurbishing of the piece of furniture with less thought on the smaller details like drawer knobs or pulls.  Over time any hardware can get dull and dirty with the need of some refinishing.  The process she used to enhance the look of the antique knobs was really simple.

After cleaning the knobs good with some 409, she simple buffed them out with Rub and Buff in antique gold.

The Rub and Buff did a great job of brightening up the knobs and showing off the detail.  Now that you see the detail of the knobs, you have to go and check out the entire dresser makeover.   Charlene at  CClrlyCreative did a great job of turning an old and worn dresser into a new show piece.

Thank you Charlene for your inspiration!
