- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 tsp pure vanilla
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
Sugar Cookie Icing
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp white corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
Cream together powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, almond extract, and egg in a large bowl. It helps to cut butter into small pieces.
Cream until you get a smooth consistency.
Mix together the flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Slowly add this dry mixture to the creamed mixture.
