Spring is here and although it may not always feel like it outside, it can feel Spring like inside with simply freshening up the décor. These Spring decoration ideas show how easy it is to just make a few little tweaks for a lighter or brighter look. Fresh flowers are a great option. However, if you are looking for something more maintenance free, there are plenty of other options. I travel a lot so I need to freshen up my home in other ways. Pip berries, birds, and realistic looking artificial fruit are a few of my go to options.
Spring Decorating Inspiration
If you are going to decorate with flowers, you can use either real or silk and display them in fun ways to enhance the feel of the Spring season. I love this idea, from BHG, for displaying flowers in an umbrella!
If using fresh flowers, BHG says to just fill a plastic resealable bag with water and secure it with a rubber band.
Along the same theme as showers, you can also use a pair of cute rain boots as fun vases for flowers. These make a nice welcoming burst of freshness next to a door.
I happen to really like this example found on Digital Dollhouse. It, of course, is a little more on the rustic chic side with using an old pair of gray rain boots!
Changing out artwork and pillows is another great idea for making a fresh change for Spring. This colorful example, from Country Door, shows how vibrant Spring colors were added with accessories.
